Re : You Need An Umbrella
As far as I observe today in times of rain, many people are stranded in one place. What are the reasons? I don’t know what they are exactly. One of them may be the lack of an umbrella. This one thing, the umbrella, based on my experience, lacking it could greatly affect your day. This may not apply to everyone, but there will be someone out there, including me, who feels the same.
As much as possible, if not forgotten or intentionally left behind, I always want to have it around me when I travel long distances.
This umbrella of mine, I didn’t buy it. It’s a prize I received when I attended an event with my schoolmates in Cagayan De Oro City, Mis Or. It’s been with me for quite a while. It has a normal design, quite bigger than others.
This umbrella helps me a lot in rain or shine. When the temperature is high, this helps shield me from direct sunlight and reduces its power. It still penetrates but not as much as facing it directly.
I sweat a lot when the temperature around me is high on a sunny day. The umbrella is one of the tools that helps me reduce its effects. As a result, I do not sweat as much, unlike when walking around with no umbrella at all.
This time, during the rainy season, it’s really helpful to have this accompanying me. Not only does it shield me from rain, but it also helps me move around from one place to another when it’s raining. If I want to, I don’t have to wait for the rain to stop, I can just go with it.
Advantages Of Having An Umbrella
1. Protects You From Sunlight
Sunlight is great; you need it to survive. But normally at noon and after, in my place, you surely will not like to walk around without an umbrella. I experienced it one day, walking around at noon. The heat it emits is painful to my skin, especially in the area of my face. Though I don’t have sensitive skin, unlike others, if you are one of them, surely it will affect you.
2. Reduces Sweatiness Of Your Body
I’m the type of person who sweats a lot when I move too much or when the temperature around me is quite high. As a student who travels, sometimes I wait for half an hour before I can get on a public transportation vehicle. As a result of waiting, without a shed to cover me, the sun’s rays sometimes really affect my body temperature. As a result, I sweat, but because I have an umbrella, it reduces the effects. I may sweat, but not as much as I would without an umbrella, standing and waiting.
3. Protects You From Rain
Rain is beautiful; I have good memories of it from my childhood days, running and playing. Though it can be done also at my age, not as freely though. As I have experienced, having an umbrella on my side when it’s raining is really beneficial. I’m not afraid to go around, and I don’t have to worry too much about my belongings getting wet because I have a shield by my side, accompanying me around.
4. Saves You Time
Imagine, one day, unexpectedly it rains when you are in a place and you don’t have an umbrella, and there’s something you need to get from another place or go to another one. Will you walk around while it’s raining? Will you run fast? Will you borrow one? Will you wait for it to stop? Whatever option you choose affects you. You don’t know when the rain will stop, or if there is someone you can borrow from. Imagine it; there are many restrictions when you don’t have an umbrella.
Imagine, you have one, carrying it. Are you restricted to move around? Yes, there will be some restrictions if the rain is too strong. But when it is just moderate, you feel it’s possible, you can go with it. You don’t have to wait until the rain stops, you don’t need to run fast or borrow one, and you may be restricted at some point but it’s better than not having an umbrella with you.
See the difference between having an umbrella and not having one. The umbrella is useful for any season. Aesthetically, it won’t affect your style as long as you find an umbrella that suits you. So why not carry one when you are traveling?
